Bullet Job Description
 Plan and direct food preparation process and culinary activities
 preparation and design of all food and drinks menus
 Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
 Produce high quality plates both meal and taste wise
 Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
 Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
 Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
 Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
 Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
 Be fully in charge of training kitchen staff.
 Estimate staff’s workload and compensations
 Establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
 Plan orders for equipment purchases and repairs according to identified when necessary
 Remedy any problems or defects
 Give prepared meal the “final touch”
 Rectify arising problems or complaints
 Perform administrative duties
 Maintain records of payroll and attendance
 Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
 Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
 Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
 Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-oworkers
 
Bullet Working experience
Minimum Expereince Required in Years : 5
5 years of experience as Kitchen Supervisor at least

 
Bullet Academic / Educational Qualifications
BS Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
 
Bullet Professional / Technical / Other Qualifications
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Excellent record and proven ability of kitchen management

Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently

Capable of delegating multiple tasks

Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions

Familiar with industry’s best practices

Outstanding communication and leadership skills

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices

Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes

Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)

Credentials in health and safety training
