Bullet Job Description
Job Purpose: The purpose of this job is to ensure that all information related to general accounts, costing and financial management are processed & recorded timely with accuracy & efficiency. Develop a liaison between finance & other departments to follow internal procedures (as defined & approved), handling all internal & external queries pertaining to accounts, and pass on reliable information to the concerned authorities (Financial Controller, Head BU, CFO etc.) to support them in decision making.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY:

Checking of Documents:

 Checking all documents pertaining to accounts (Payment Advice Notes, Bank Payment Notes, Cash Receipts Notes, Account Receivable Notes , Journal Vouchers etc.) in order to avoid any sort of discrepancy prevailing.

Accounts & Financial Statement:

 Prepare accounts & financial statements (Like Trial Balance, Balance Sheet Income Statements, Cash flow ) periodically so that clear picture related to BA financial performance, cash flow, assets, liabilities, and equity can be depicted and presented to Financial Controller, Head BU, CFO & other concerned authorities to take decisions.

 Responsible for payroll preparation of BA Establishment.

Accrued Billing & Cost:

 Check accrued billing & cost of the projects on monthly basis in order to charge cost of the respective period for which it relates/occurs and to depict clear financial position of BU by sharing it with the concerned authorities (Applicable if BU directly involves in any project).

Analysis & Reports:

 Perform studies and analyses in order to provide reports on status of accounts, and business (in hand & executed) to assist management in financial planning & decision making (Applicable if BU directly involves in any project).

 Assisting BU FC in preparation of BU Establishment Budget, Forecast, and monthly expense report.

Closing of Accounts:

 Monthly & annually closing of financial accounts for reporting and conducting annual audit.

Cost Control:

 Monitor the financial performance of the BU establishment expenses against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly in order to capitalized potential performance improvement opportunities.

Reconciliation of Accounts:

 Monthly reconciliation of inter BU/BSD/JVs and Associated Companies Balances.

 Monthly bank reconciliations

 Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy of records and identify issues requiring further action.

Interface Meetings:

 Close interaction with Project Management & Operational Departments.

 Interface meetings within finance, and concerned departments (PMS, Commercial) in order to facilitate resolution of issues and promote good working relations.

Managing People:

 Achieve financial objectives through the strong leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to optimize the performance of the department.

Minimum Expereince Required in Years : 8
 Overall 08 years of experience in Accounting related job of manufacturing organization.
