JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your normal duties and responsibilities are as set out below. In addition to your normal duties, you may be required by management to undertake other duties from time to time as the positions evolves.

It is a requirement that you cooperate with your manager to provide flexible cover within the company and within your area of competence. Additional training will be provided as necessary to accommodate this flexibility. Moving from one job or duty to another does not warrant any change in pay beyond the terms stated in this contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementation of internal controls procedures

• Responsible for confirming all payments from major clients.

• Managing and maintaining sales cash follows

• Manage the sales systems

• Implementation of internal controls procedures

• Handling of sales Budget

• Responsible for receipts, confirming deposits, payments

• Preparation of audit schedule and documentations& Management reports

• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

• Implementation of internal controls procedures

• Execute bank reconciliations and liaise with bank handled internal and external auditors executed monthly close of books of records and financial statements

• Drafted accounts reconciliation and journal entry adjustments

• Responsible for the major bank reconciliation of the company

• Execute short and long term financial strategies to reach company goals.

• Conduct review of the monthly business activity statement and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Generated monthly and quarterly budgeted reports.

• Coordinate the end of month closing process to ensure all corporate deadlines are met and information is presented in accordance with GAAP.

• Prepare monthly financial reports, reconcile complex daily transactions, generate ad-hoc reports, and provide reports to management regarding sales analysis.

• Assist in the preparation of the annual organizational financial budget.

• Ensure staff compliance with the approved financial policies and procedures as well as being up to date of any new accounting and reporting standards.

• Review company financial records, reports, and other information to check for accuracy and ensure details align with company goals and procedures.

• Assessed the organizations yearly budget and helped maintain the focus on quarterly budget goals with spending and cost reports.

• Maintaining the stability of company’s financial systems and ensuring the accuracy of accounting supervising branch accounts executives.

• Compiled financial reports pertaining to cash receipts, expenditures and profit and loss.

• Reviewing, compiling and financial information.

• Maintaining day-to-day cash inflows Reporting the daily, weekly and monthly fund statements.

• Interacting with internal and external auditors in completing the audits. Ensuring that all accounting related activities follow company standards.

• Coordinate the all the payments to the suppliers and vendors.

• Updating and handling relevant ledger and maintain the bank reconciliation up to date.

• Handling all the vat invoices and preparing the vat returns.

• Reconcile day to day sales activities across the various divisions.

• Provide sales reports to relevant Management on a regular basis.

• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.

• Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take

• Maintain the financial health of the organization.

• Analyze pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.

• Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.

• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

• Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.

• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

• Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
 
Bullet Working experience
Minimum Expereince Required in Years : 5
2 Accountants - One with Hotel Experience and the other with Petroleum Industry (Station Management) Experience Preferably.
 
Bullet Academic / Educational Qualifications
Should have a Degree in Accountancy Field

Fluent in English & Computer Literacy
